Turkey's domestic scrap prices fall further, reflecting imports
Turkish mills have further reduced their domestic scrap buying prices last week as scrap import prices moved downwards, Kallanish notes.
Local scrap-based long and flat steelmaker Colakoglu Metalurji reduced its domestic auto-bundle (DKP) buying price on 15 September to TRY 1,125/tonne ($330/t), or by TRY 20/t, after another TRY 20/t cut on 13 September.
