EAF producers lead Turkish steel production growth
Turkey's crude steel production growth in February was led by electric arc furnace-based steelmakers, Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) figures reveal.
Crude steel output increased 8.2% on-year in February to 2.8 million tonnes. However, it recorded a decrease of -5.4% from January.
EAF-based output rose 11.1% on-year in February and BOF-based output increased by 2.6%.
