Turkey's CR flats exports surge in July
Turkish cold-rolled flat steel exports’ year-on-year surge continued in July, mainly driven by increased shipments to the US and Europe, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
July's exports grew 83.4% y-o-y to 52,261 tonnes, but fell -3.7% over June. The overall average value/tonne of these exports rose to $909/t from $831/t a year ago.
