Turkey’s construction index falls in August
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index continued to fall in August. The index, which was at 88.1 in July, declined to 87.4 in August, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months declined by 1.8 points to 95.2 in August, while that for current overall order books fell to 83.5 from 83.6.
