Turkey’s construction index continues its rise in August
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index continued to increase in August. The index, which was at 84.99 in July, rose by 1.49% in August to 86.26, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose to 93.52 in August versus 93.39 in July, while that for current overall order books fell to 81.92 from 81.97.
