Turkey’s construction confidence starts 2024 on rise
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index registered an uptick to start the year. The index, which was at 88.0 in December, rose to 90.9 in January, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose by 8 points to 105.5 in January. Current overall order books increased to 84.2 from 79.0.
