Turkey’s construction confidence rises for third consecutive month
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index, which was 82.4 in June, increased in July to 86.3, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This is the third consecutive rise after nine months of decline.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose to 86.8 in July versus 85.1 in June, while that for current overall orderbooks rose to 78.8 from 76.3.
