Turkey’s construction confidence rises for second consecutive month
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index, which was 79.6 in May, increased by 3.6% in June to 82.4, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This is the second consecutive rise after nine months of decline.
The index for building activity over the past three months fell to 85.1 in June versus 86.0 in May, while current overall orderbooks rose to 76.3 from 74.5.
