Turkey’s construction confidence recovers in May
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index recovered significantly in May. The index, which was at 88.4 in April, rose to 92.2 in May, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose by 1.1 points to 101.6 in May, while that for current overall order books rose to 87.3 from 84.8.
