Turkey’s construction confidence index hits 1-year high
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction sector confidence index increased to 78.9 in January compared to 68.9 the previous month. This was the highest since January 2019, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months increased to 84.2 versus 80.0 in December, while current overall order-books increased considerably to 64.6 from 48.6 in December.
