Turkey’s construction confidence further declines in December
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index decreased by -7.2% on-month in December from 79.0 to 73.3, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This follows its -5.7% drop in November.
The index for building activity over the past three months declined to 79.7 in December versus 85.8 in November, while current overall order-books declined to 56.7 from 62.6.
