Turkey’s construction confidence index drops in February
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index, which was at 78.9 in the previous month, decreased by 5.7% in February to 74.5. Despite the decline, this was still higher than in February 2019, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months increased to 89.8 versus 84.2 in January, while current overall order-books decreased to 60.4 from 64.6 in January.
