Turkey’s construction confidence continues to rise in July
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index continued to increase in July. The index, which was at 83.04 in June, rose by 2.4% in July to 85.0, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months fell to 93.4 in July versus 96.9 in June, while that for current overall orderbooks rose to 82.0 from 81.4.
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook…
