Turkey’s construction confidence index continues to rise
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index, which was 86.3 in July, increased by 7.1% in August to 92.4, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This is the fourth consecutive rise after nine months of decline.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose to 90.8 in August versus 86.8 in July, while that for current overall orderbooks rose to 83.0 from 78.8.
