Turkey's construction confidence index continues to decline
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index, which was at 84.2 in January, decreased in February to 83.1, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This is the seventh consecutive decline since August 2020.
The index for building activity over the past three months nevertheless rose to 100.5 in February versus 100.3 in January, while current overall order-books increased to 76.9 from 75.7.
