Turkey’s construction confidence index continues increasing in July
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index, which was 78 in June, increased by 11.6% in July to 87, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months increased to 86.8 in July versus 74.6 in June, while current overall order-books rose to 73.9 from 59.1.
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, while below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
