Turkey’s construction confidence further declines in January
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index, which was at 88.8 in December 2020, decreased to 84.2 in January, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish. This is the sixth consecutive decline since August 2020.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose to 100.3 in January versus 96.7 in December, while current overall order-books declined to 75.7 from 77.6.
