Turkey’s construction confidence falls slightly in May
Turkey’s seasonally adjusted construction confidence index fell slightly, by 0.3, to 88.3 in May, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months fell by 2.1 points to 98.5 in May. Current overall order books rose slightly, to 83.1 from 82.8.
An index above 100 indicates an optimistic outlook, while below 100 indicates a pessimistic outlook.
