Turkey’s construction confidence declines in August
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index, which was 87 in July, decreased by -2.3% in August to 85, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months increased to 90.2 in August versus 86.8 in July, while current overall order-books declined to 70.0 from 73.9.
