Turkey's coated steel market quietens on HRC downtrend
The coated steel market in Turkey is experiencing a period of calm amid a downtrend in the hot rolled coil segment, both domestically and globally, market participants inform Kallanish.
“Sales are weak for the second consecutive week domestically and in exports, since HRC producers [in Turkey] are expected to reduce prices,” a coated steel producer says. “However this is a rather typical situation as the end of the year approaching.”
