Turkey’s Cemtas to invest in solar power plant
Turkish steel producer Cemtas Celik says it has signed an agreement for its solar energy systems (GES) investment on the roofs of a 12,000 square meter closed area.
The investment is expected to total $1.4 million and will have a power capacity of 2MW, the firm says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The GES generation facility is scheduled to start operating in the third quarter of 2023 after obtaining the necessary permits and completing the investment.
