Turkey's Cemtas suspends production
Turkish special steel producer Cemtas says it has suspended production at its meltshop and rolling mill from 4-9 January, Kallanish notes.
The decision has been taken in order to use resources more efficiently in the current market and economic conditions, and carry out planned maintenance work, it adds.
Production at the company’s stabiliser bar line will meanwhile continue as usual.
Cemtas previously halted production for a week in November.
