Turkey's Cemtas to restart revamped reheating furnace
Turkish alloy bar maker Cemtas will resume operation of its newly-revamped 50 tonnes/hour walking hearth furnace between May and June, Kallanish learns from Danieli Centro Combustion which is carrying out the modernisation work.
The revamp will increase heating quality and save on gas consumption. This will reduce maintenance, reduce risk of equipment malfunction, lower operating cost, improve combustion, and lower stack emissions.
