Turkey’s Cemtas reports January-September sales jump
Turkey’s Cemtas produced 133,850 tonnes of crude steel in January-September, up 18.55% on-year. Rolled product output was also up by 17.45% to 121,304t, Kallanish notes.
The company reported a 15.93% on-year increase in sales, with domestic deliveries up by 16.33% to 75,902t. Export sales rose by 15.20% to 41,427t. The share of exports in overall sales was 35.31%, down slightly from 35.53% last year.
