Turkey’s Cemtas increases 2020 sales
Turkey’s Cemtas produced 160,398 tonnes of crude steel in 2020, up 10.11% on-year. Rolled products output was also up, by 7.71% to 149,167t, Kallanish notes.
The company reported a 3.96% increase in 2020 sales, with domestic deliveries up by 3.92% to 95,325t and exports up 4.03% to 51,915t. The share of exports in overall sales remained unchanged at 35.26%.
The company’s annual meltshop capacity is 193,204 tonnes while rolling capacity is 207,360t.
