Turkey’s Cemtas increases first-half domestic, export sales
Turkey’s Cemtas produced 90,235 tonnes of crude steel in the first half of 2021, up 21.86% on-year. Rolled products output was also up by 25.97% to 83,169t, Kallanish notes.
The company reported a 15.73% increase in H1 sales, with domestic deliveries up by 17.38% to 50,124t. Exports rose by 12.8% to 27,026t. The share of exports in overall sales appeared at 35.03%, almost unchanged from 35.94% last year.
