Turkey's billet import volume fall deepens in September

Turkish billet imports decreased further in September, affected by a plunge in intake from the CIS as well as a slump in Chinese supplies, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data. Total billet imports came in at 164,013 tonnes in September, down -52.6% on-year. Compared to August, September's billet imports volume was down -5.5%.
