Turkey’s automotive production recovers in September
Following its decline in August, Turkish automotive production rose 1.3% on-year to 130,545 vehicles in September. Passenger car production alone increased by 17.7% to 87,902 units, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Automotive Industry Association (OSD).
Total and passenger car production were 73,020 and 49,300 units respectively in September.
Commercial vehicle production, however, fell 21.3% on-year to 42,643 units.
