Turkey’s August rebar exports rise sequentially, down on-year
Turkish rebar exports recorded growth in August, increasing to 369,107 tonnes from 164,300t in April, 199,435t in May, 303,252t in June and 328,109t in July. However, they fell by 35.2% on-year.
The average recorded price was $588/tonne, down from $658/t in August 2022 and $620/t in July 2023, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
