Turkey’s rebar exports fall further despite EU shipments
Turkish rebar exports dropped for the third consecutive month in September, falling -8.8% on-year to 477,118 tonnes. They were, however, up from 418,581t and 338,402t in July and August respectively, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
The average sales price dropped to $425/tonne versus $447/t in September 2019. It was however up from $411.5/t and $420/t in July and August 2020 respectively.
