Turkey's August rebar exports decrease despite Israel surge
Turkish rebar exports decreased again year-on-year August, mainly driven by continued decline in shipments to the Middle East and North Africa, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
August's rebar exports stood at 356,479 tonnes, down -37.7% on-year. The overall average value/tonne of these exports increased to $458/t from $387/t a year earlier.
