Turkey's August hot-rolled flats imports decline -8% on-year
Turkey's hot rolled (HR) flat steel imports fell -8.1% on-year to 466,507 tonnes in September, according to the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
The total average value/tonne of these imports, however, increased to $548/t from $481/t a year earlier, Kallanish calculates from TUIK figures.
