Turkey's Atakas produces pickled coil at CR mill
Turkish steelmaker Atakas has produced the first coil at the continuous pickling line of its new 1.2 million tonne/year cold rolled mill, Kallanish learns from technology supplier and project contractor Danieli.
The line is designed to process strip in thicknesses from 1.5-5mm and widths of 600-1,550mm, at a maximum processing speed of 220 metres/minute, Danieli says in a statement.
