Turkey’s April rebar exports drop despite US surge
Turkish rebar exports decreased -30% year-on-year to 445,589 tonnes in April as the surge in exports to USA could not offset the drop in shipments to other regions. The total average value of these exports fell to $370/t from $440/t a year ago, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
