Turkey’s April construction confidence fails to recover
Turkey’s seasonally-adjusted construction confidence index continued its downswing in April. The index, which was at 88.5 in March, fell to 88.4 in April, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) says in a note seen by Kallanish.
The index for building activity over the past three months rose by 0.2 points to 100.5 in April, while that for current overall order books fell to 84.8 from 85.0.
