Turkey’s welded pipe exports fall 18% in 2023
Turkish welded pipe exports recovered in December following their November slump. They rose by 5.9% on-year to 219,212 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. They were also up from 156,307t in November.
The average value of December exports was $923/tonne versus $1,018/t a year earlier and $1,087/t in November 2023.
