Turkey seen breaking steel production record in 2017
Turkey's crude steel production is expected to reach record-high volume of more than 36 million tonnes in the end of 2017, according to Fuat Tosyali, chairman of the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).
A market boom in China and the intensity of domestic infrastructure investment supported the increase in steel production by boosting demand, Tosyali tells local news agency Anadolu Ajansi.
