Turkey returns to scrap import market, lifts prices
Following a break in the first half of this week, Turkish mills have returned to deep-sea scrap purchases.
Although there are rumours of a Canadian scrap sale, this has not been confirmed by the seller. On the other hand, the Canadian seller was heard on Thursday to have raised its offer to average $475/t cfr Turkey from $472/t on Wednesday.
