Turkey return lifts Polish scrap exports in 2018
Polish scrap exports surged 25% on-year in December 2018 to 134,413 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-exported product was obsolete scrap whose exports surged 48% to 78,978t. Their average value was PLN 1,167.9/tonne ($307) versus PLN 1,112/t in December 2017.
