Turkey reduces certain steel wire, bar import duties
Turkey has exempted from additional duty imports of certain types of steel wire and alloy bars, Kallanish learns from the economy ministry's notice in the 3-July issue of Turkey's official gazette.
Imports of steel wire under the HS code 7217.30.90.00.00 for use as input for manufacturing of other products are already subject to a 5% additional duty instead of the earlier applied 25%.
