Turkey lifts ban on scrap imports from Lebanon
Turkey has lifted its ban on scrap metal imports from Lebanon, says Lebanese economy and trade minister Amin Salam.
Salam adds the Turkish decision will secure $100 million of "fresh dollars" annually for Lebanon, according to Lebanon's national news agency, NNA.
Salam says the decision was taken during a visit to Turkey last week alongside a delegation headed by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
