Turkey implements some flats import duties, increases others
Turkey has imposed duties on selected flat steel imports and raised existing import duties on some products from 2024, Kallanish notes.
Namely, a 20% duty has been enforced on imports of specific hot-dip galvanized (HDG) and pre-painted galvanized (PPGI) coil, while the duty for some cold-rolled stainless steel increased from 8% to 12%.
