Turkey, Indonesia drive up Polish scrap exports
Polish scrap exports surged 28% on-year in July to 224,426 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish. The average value of obsolete scrap under HS code 720449 was however down to PLN 1,086/tonne ($253) from 1,195/t in July 2018.
