Turkey imposes additional import duties on certain steel
Following the duties imposed on some steel product imports from 20 May, Turkey has implemented new import duties of up to 20% on some steel products from 28 June.
Included are steel products such as non-alloy/stainless wire, sections, and pipe/tube fittings. The duties will again be implemented in two stages, with the first stage effective until 30 September and the second as of 1 October, Kallanish notes.
