Turkey imports another mammoth scrap tonnage in September
Turkish scrap imports increased further in September, following their July and August rises. They rose 27.5% on-year to 2.18 million tonnes. They were also up from 1.91mt in August, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
