Turkey imports another mammoth scrap tonnage in March

Turkish scrap imports continued their rise in March, by 24.1% on-year to 2.23 million tonnes. They also increased from February imports of 2.07mt, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Over 95%, or 2.16mt, of the March imports were obsolete scrap.
