Turkey cuts HRC import duty for re-rollers
Turkey has temporarily reduced the import duties on hot-rolled coil (HRC) for re-rollers only from 1 January 2018, Kallanish learns from the country's economy ministry.
The customs duty for imports of HRC under the HS codes 7208.39.00.90.11, 7208.38.00.90.11, 7208.37.00.90.11 for use in cold rolling has been lowered to 3.5% from 5% earlier. The general import duty for other imports of these products remains at 9%, according to documents published in the 31 D…
