Turkey imports another mammoth scrap tonnage in April
Turkish scrap imports continued their rise in April. They soared by 44% on-year to 2.48 million tonnes. This was mostly because they came from a low, Covid-19-impacted base last year. They also increased from March imports of 2.23mt, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
