InterMetal buys new wire rod line from Danieli
Tunisian long steelmaker InterMetal has signed a contract with the Italian equipment supplier, Danieli, for the purchase of a new high-speed wire rod line, Kallanish learns from Danieli.
The new line will be installed in the company’s production site located in Rades, Northern Tunisia, and will be fed by the existing mill, supplied by the Italian supplier in 2001. The equipment’s start-up is scheduled at the end of 2016.
