Tung Ho Steel plans to renew EAFs
Taiwanese steelmaker Tung Ho Steel plans to renew its electric arc furnaces to drive investment in the environmental transition.
The leading producer of rebar and sections celebrated its 60th anniversary on 18 April. Chairman Hou Jieteng revealed that Tung Ho Steel will update its EAFs at the Miaoli and Taoyuan plants and plans to complete the construction of new equipment in 2026 and 2030, Kallanish learns.
